  5. This is wonderful! We love making habitats for critters. I will share this with my kids. Currently they have 2 hermit crab habitats, one for a fire-bellied toad, a Beta fish, and some tadpoles that we found in our pool. I look forward to reading more of your posts! Great step by step instructions.

  12. I'm excited about your blog - we have so much to learn from you about bugs and little creatures. I'm wondering about cleaning your terrarium. It seems different snails produce different degrees of mess. I had English snails once that didn't require much cleaning but we had to clean our Florida snail terrarium pretty often. Maybe just because they were bigger? How often do you clean your terrarium and what's your method?

  21. Good idea! Slugs will be easy to find (on Dad's garden), but I don't know where to find any snails. :( The rest of the materials are also at my house.
